Rachela Abbate is a multimedia artist, cultural producer and curator of Italian-German origin. After studying philosophy in Germany, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Italy. Rachela Abbate’s work focuses on the meaning of architectural spaces – in particular, the intangible structures present in communication in archiving processes. In her works of art, which range from photography, installations, videos and drawings, the artist explores aesthetic imaginaries, which invite opportunities for reflection and transformation. Rachela Abbate is also co-founder and producer of several participatory art projects related to issues of social transformation and she collaborates in numerous artistic projects. Her works are widely exhibited internationally.
